Here are some stored maps packages for development and testing on your specific device and application. You should download the file, uncompress it and save to phone internal or external flash drive, using same file structure.
The maps are OpenStreetMap Mapnik tiles (with it's respective copyright), packaged to 32 tiles per file.

Both are as of September, 2008, currently not updated.
