Default the library uses simple maps and not satellite like.
Is there a way to get satellite map with online option?
Thanks.

Technically yes, but I do not know any global free source for maps, as OpenAerialMap service is dead by now. There are some WMS-based free services for general maps. Non-free built-in alternatives are:
a) DigitalGlobe (satellite), expensive. Nutiteq can provide it.
b) Blom Urbex (aerial). Very expensive, but also very detailed. Nutiteq can provide it.
b) Bing maps with satellite option. Some mobile application providers have got license from Microsoft, Nutiteq has no direct contacts with them.

Hi

CloudMade will be launching a new service in November called the Data Market Place (DMP. The DMP will be an electronic market for application developers and data providers to come together in a easy way.

Initially, the DMP will support Points of Interest, which can be integrated with OpenStreetMap base maps via CloudMade's location platform.

We expect to add additional dataset support, including Satellite, Aerial & Street imagery in the first half of 2010. We will work with Nutiteq to make sure their libraries will support these extended features.

You can contact me directly if you have additional questions.

Cheers
